On the 9th of June I had the opportunity to play host to the first ever Pop:Live Event “Poparazzi”, a networking night for the Melbourne entertainment industry with a stage show dedicated to unearthing new Australian Talent in the pop music and dance scene.

A brilliant array of entertainers took to the stage and wowed the crowds with their unique styles and talent at Jett Black Night Club on Greville St in Prahran. Some of the featured performers had previously toured with world renowned pop stars and others had featured in competitions such as Idol and Australia’s got Talent.

Talks between organisers are underway regarding future events for Pop:Live. It’s hoped that the event will attract enough attention to be held at regular intervals throughout the year and become a stepping stone for emerging artists in Melbourne’s music scene.
